Viking, Forties, Dogger, Fisher, Sole. The Shipping Forecast is a much-loved staple of BBC Radio and a unique part of British culture. Carefully recited to a highly technical formula, the forecast is nature translated into poetry.
In 2022, a highly skilled watercolour artist (check out her work here) remastered the original Shipping Forecast Map. Her beautiful and intricate painting is replicated in 200 fine-art giclée prints. These prints use the finest Canon pigment-based inks, ensuring there will be no loss or change of colour for decades.
